Lena Neudauer was born in Munich and began playing the violin at the age of three. At ten she gave her first concert with orchestra, and at just eleven she entered the Mozarteum University Salzburg, studying in the class of Helmut Zehetmair. She subsequently continued her studies under Thomas Zehetmair and later with Christoph Poppen. Over the years she received important artistic inspiration from Felix Andrievsky, Ana Chumachenco, Midori, Nobuko Imai, and Seiji Ozawa.<\/span><\/p>

In 2010, at the age of 26, Lena Neudauer was appointed Professor of Violin at the University of Music Saar, and since 2016 she has held a professorship at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. <\/span>apenas<\/span> 26 anos, Lena Neudauer foi nomeada Professora de Violino na Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Saar e, desde 2016, ocupa o cargo de Professora na prestigiada Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Munique.<\/span><\/p>

Her debut CD on the H\u00e4nssler Classic label was released in May 2010 and features the complete works for violin and orchestra by Robert Schumann, recorded with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbr\u00fccken Kaiserslautern under the direction of Pablo Gonz\u00e1lez. The album received the renowned International Classical Music Award (ICMA) as Best Concerto Recording in 2011. In 2013 she released a chamber music recording of works by Ravel in collaboration with Paul Rivinius (piano) and Julian Steckel (cello). Her 2014 recording with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie was devoted to Mozart\u2019s violin concertos, including cadenzas composed by the soloist herself. In 2018 her recording of Mendelssohn\u2019s D minor Concerto and the Double Concerto with Matthias Kirschnereit was highly praised by Fono Forum.<\/span><\/p>

Her latest CD (cpo 2019) with Beethoven violin concerto op. 61 and Romanzen 1 & 2 under Marcus Bosch with Cappella Aquileia was praised as reference recording (Pizzicato, Fono Forum, Crescendo) and has been awarded the Supersonic prize.<\/span><\/p>

In the field of chamber music, Lena Neudauer has collaborated closely with Julian Steckel, Julia Fischer, Sebastian Klinger, Matthias Kirschnereit, Herbert Schuch, Lauma Skride, and Nils M\u00f6nkemeyer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

As a soloist she has appeared with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the MDR Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Orchestre National de Belgique, and the Saint Petersburg Russian Philharmonic, under conductors including Dennis Russell Davies, Mariss Jansons, Hannu Lintu, Mario Venzago, Wojciech Rajski, and Mirga Gra\u017einyt\u0117-Tyla.<\/span><\/p>
