Lisbon is one of the few cities worldwide to offer a unique natural setting.
The presence of the Tagus River accompanies us throughout the visit, guiding us along the riverside front and its port area, as well as through streets steeped in the history of its people and the key events that have shaped the “face” of this city.
Under an almost always blue sky, Lisbon’s light paints the rooftops, streets, houses, windows, and green nooks in a variety of tones and colors, often chosen as inspiration for films and photo shoots.
As a city built on hills, Lisbon offers breathtaking views from its many viewpoints located at the highest points.
Highlights include the viewpoint at St. George’s Castle, from where one can see the ferries crossing to the south bank, the 25th of April Bridge, Rossio Square, the Carmo Convent, Bairro Alto, Eduardo VII Park, and other notable landmarks of the city.
An ancient city with a rich history and heritage, but also a modern city, an important center for business, tourism, and culture.
